The AWS Well-Architected Framework helps cloud architects build secure, high performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure for a variety of applications and workloads.

The AWS Well-Architected Framework describes key concepts, design principles, and architectural best practices for designing and running workloads in the cloud and is structured for organisations to learn how well their architecture aligns with cloud best practices and gain guidance for making improvements.

The pillars of the Well-Architected Framework are: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimisation, and Sustainability.
