AC3 is proud to announce that they have joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Delivery designation for AWS Graviton in the AWS Partner Network (APN).
AC3 are the first partner in the ANZ region (Australia and New Zealand) to achieve this designation.
Achieving such designation recognises that AC3 provides deep technical knowledge, experience, and proven success in delivering AWS Graviton-based Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances. This validates that AC3 is helping customers accelerate and scale their adoption of AWS Graviton so they can realise price performance benefits sooner, and across more workloads.
Achieving the AWS Graviton Delivery designation differentiates AC3 as an APN member, offering customers professional services to plan and implement workloads on AWS Graviton-based EC2 instances, from proof of concepts to production deployments. To receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS experience and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.
“We’re really proud to become an AWS Graviton Delivery Partner,” said Greg Cockburn, Head of Hyperscale Cloud at AC3. “Our team is dedicated to helping our customers turn their technology challenges into real results by leveraging the agility, breadth of service and pace of innovation that AWS provides.”
AWS Graviton Processors offer cost-effective and high-performance options for customers. Key benefits are cost savings and improved price-to-performance ratios, competitive performance for specific workflows, and the energy-efficient processors can result in lower operational costs over time, as well as being better for the environment.
“One of the big challenges for businesses today is finding cost-effective and sustainable ways to manage and run their workloads, while still managing growth and business complexities”, says Greg. “Graviton is one of the best ways to balance a cost-effective solution without losing quality, performance, and productivity, all while managing environmental concerns and having scalable and secure solutions”.
Graviton instances are better for the environment due to their energy efficiency. They require less power to deliver the same level of computational performance as similar alternative processors. Reduced energy consumption subsequently leads to lower carbon emissions.
AWS states:
“AWS Graviton Delivery Partners assess the customer environment and recommend a transition strategy to AWS Graviton. These AWS Partners can build, test, and deploy customer workloads on AWS Graviton, run performance benchmarks, navigate and resolve potential software dependencies, and help ensure customer workloads run optimally on AWS Graviton.”
To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Service Delivery Program to help customers identify APN Consulting Partners with deep experience delivering specific AWS services.
If your organisation is looking to adopt AWS Graviton to improve performance and reduce costs for your compute workloads, AC3 can help you accelerate your technology and application modernisation.
